SIXTH STAGE OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP AT CASINO MARBELLA
The Spanish poker Championship (CEP) reaches its 14th edition in the best of its conditions. After a successful season in which different participation challenges were overcome, making its Main Event the most massive in the history of the circuit with a total of 2,316 players (compared to 2,086 in the 2017 edition), the 2019 CEP arrives with important news.
Casino Marbella hosts the sixth and penultimate stage of the Championship this October 23 to 27, 2019.
This edition brings novelties such as the extension of the late registration to level 8, with the inclusion of an intermediate level prior to the completion of the registration, the application of the Big Blind Ante format and the use of Shot Clock before the bubble and until the completion of the Main Event.
The winner of the 2019 CEP, in addition to the honor of taking the title of Spanish Champion and a commemorative watch, will include sponsorship for all stages of the CEP 2020 and a ticket for a € 10,300 tournament of the EPT Barcelona 2020.
The runner-up will also be sponsored to play all the stops of the CEP 2020 and an entry for the Main Event of the EPT Barcelona 2020 valued at € 5,300.
The third classified, will be sponsored for all the stops of the CEP 2020 and an entry for the EPT National Barcelona 2020 valued at € 1,100.
The fourth and fifth winner will also be sponsored for the entire CEP 2020 circuit.

The main event has an entry price of € 500 and 30,000 starting points. The player can choose which day he wants to start the game (Day 1A, Thursday 24 or 1B, Friday 25). Only the best will pass to Saturday, day 2 and will meet in the final, which will be held on Sunday (Day 3). But this is not all, participants who have been eliminated in the main event will continue to enjoy the circuit with parallel tournaments.
The Mini CEP, with an entry of € 200 and 30,000 starting points is a classic in this event.
The last chance is given by the “Last Chance” tournament, which will be played on Sunday, with an entry of € 60 and 10,000 points.
Casino Marbella will give a great boost to the circuit with two extra satellites, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October. With a buy in of € 55 – 5,000 points and € 100 – 10,000 points respectively, levels of 20 and both with start time at 20:40 hrs.
This Poker Tournament will give a boost to the leisure offer at the Costa del Sol, increasing overnight stays in hotels in the area. Once again, tourism linked to Poker shows that at any time of the year there are still very beneficial events for Marbella.
