This year saw the 23rd edition of the Costa del Sol Fantastic Film Festival, an event organised by the Unicorn Association and directed by Julio Peces, which brings together the most prominent professionals from the world of cinema. For 7 days, from the 4th to the 10th of September, the festival has had the objective that culture and artistic quality receive the leading roles for all its guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As is tradition, Casino Marbella hosted its closing party last Friday 9th September in support of the culture festival. From 21.00 hours, the Casino Gardens became the fleet of a hundred guests who received their boarding pass in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event, which recreated the film Titanic thanks to the collaboration of Cinefan Ubeda, hosted extras representing the most mythical moments of the classic romance film. Among them were the scenes in which Jack paints the portrait of Rose, as well as characters such as the captain of the ship and part of the crew wearing life jackets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was attended by the Councillor of Benahav\u00eds, Mar\u00eda de los \u00c1ngeles Mena and the Deputy Mayor of Estepona, Bego\u00f1a Ort\u00edz. As for actors and directors, Alicia Borrachero, Ben Temple, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Seda, Javier Quintas and Ram\u00f3n Langa, among others, attended the event. Andr\u00e9s Ant\u00fanez, cartoonist, was giving the paintings as gifts to sponsors and collaborators. The music by Vintage Experience, the setting and lighting by AG Events and the design by Peces Graphic Design turned the event into a magical night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
