In 1984, four unemployed paranormal investigators created a company in New York with the purpose of cleaning up the city of ghosts.
Thirty-five years later, and celebrating its twentieth edition, The Fantastic Film Festival of Costa del Sol brings them back to life to celebrate their annual party at Casino Marbella. An event that has managed to stay in time and become an unavoidable date for te genre´s lovers.
In the words of Julio Peces, director of the Festival, “I thought the fehstival was going to last one or two years and we turned 20″
With more than 100 guests (and surely numerous incorporeal creatures), the Casino’s gardens became a cinema scene in the purest eighties style, including the team’s office vehicle and even the Marshmallow man.
The rain was not an impediment for the hunting of these ectoplasmic manifestations. Accompanied by personalities such as Estepona´s Mayor Sr. José María García Urbano, the councillor of the socio-cultural area of Estepona Ms. Begoña Ruiz; of actors like Silvia Tortosa or Ian Beattie (Game of Thrones); and other guests such as the president of the Luimer Foundation and Fox producers among others.
A spooky party enlivened by the Malpaso band on a night where guests enjoyed a cocktail from the hand of Chef Agustín Román and danced to the beats of all time cinematic soundtracks.
