Casino Marbella pone broche final al Festival de Cine Fantástico de la Costa del Sol

The association Unicornio, directed by Julio Peces, celebrated the 24th edition of the International Fantastic Film Festival of the Costa del Sol from the 4th to the 10th of September.

This year, the theme chosen by the organization was “Serial Killers” and, as usual, the closing party of the Festival took place in the emblematic Casino Marbella.

As a nod to the main focus of the Festival, on September 8th, the gardens of the Casino were transformed into the Paris of the 1920s, inspired by the experiences of the character Monsieur Verdoux, played by Charles Chaplin in what would be his penultimate film, based on the life of the serial killer Henri Désiré Landru.

A Parisian party with the iconic Eiffel Tower illuminated by a stunning full moon and the shadow of Monsieur Verdoux himself stalking his next victim, creating a magical atmosphere.

The event was attended by personalities from the world of cinema and television, including the presence of the presenter and actress Lara Dibildos, the recent award-winning actress Cristina Medina and the renowned TV Director Javier Quintas, among others. Among the attendees was the Mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, once again supporting culture.

The Vintage Experience provided the soundtrack to the evening, creating the perfect atmosphere for the more than 120 guests to enjoy the evening to the rhythm of jazz.

Once again, Casino Marbella achieved a resounding success making the event an unforgettable experience for each and every one of the attendees.
