Jose Carlos, originally from the Costa del Sol, has lived through the birth and evolution of the golden era at Casino Marbella. His first position in the company, as a restaurant assistant, allowed him to get to know how the profession worked from the very beginning. He worked his way through the different facilities at Casino Marbella, from the machine room, bar service, dining room, bars, restaurant… until he was finally trained as a maître and became responsible for the company’s catering.
The gastronomic manager of the restaurant had started his training in Tourism when he decided to venture to experience other countries such as France and Germany, which gave him a linguistic and cultural background just before facing his new professional challenges in Casino Marbella. Jose Carlos underlines that his veteran colleagues have been an example for him to follow, since he joined the company in 1996.
