Jose Carlos Bouhyane Ríos, Maitre at Casino Marbella, celebrates 26 years at the hem of one of the city’s most emblematic restaurant

Jose Carlos, originally from the Costa del Sol, has lived through the birth and evolution of the golden era at Casino Marbella. His first position in the company, as a restaurant assistant, allowed him to get to know how the profession worked from the very beginning. He worked his way through the different facilities at Casino Marbella, from the machine room, bar service, dining room, bars, restaurant… until he was finally trained as a maître and became responsible for the company’s catering.  

The gastronomic manager of the restaurant had started his training in Tourism when he decided to venture to experience other countries such as France and Germany, which gave him a linguistic and cultural background just before facing his new professional challenges in Casino Marbella. Jose Carlos underlines that his veteran colleagues have been an example for him to follow, since he joined the company in 1996.  

The Casino Marbella restaurant has a very experienced staff. Like Jose Carlos, his colleagues have been serving the most exquisite clients and national and international celebrities for more than 20 years. The company, which takes into account the training and evolution of its employees, takes care of its team as well as its guests, positioning it as a benchmark in the tourism sector.
