Casino Marbella donates the proceeds of the “Orfan chips” to social projects

Casino Marbella closes 2023 with the highest collection of “Orphan Chips” in its 45 years of social contribution. The remarkable sum of €12,308 will go to the city’s mayor’s office, positioning it as one of the most committed companies in the municipality. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the history of the Casino highlighting the importance and effectiveness of this valuable initiative.

Casino Marbella reiterates its responsibility towards social and human development in Marbella and works in collaboration with local authorities and relevant organisations in order to contribute to the progress and well-being of those most in need.

The award ceremony, which took place yesterday 19th February, inside the Casino, was presided over by the Delegate for Social Rights, Equality and Diversity, Mrs. Isabel Cintado. A discreet event in which Javier Burgués, Manager of Casino Marbella, presented the considerable cheque to the councillor, whose final destination will go to community initiatives.

The “Orphan Chips” represent much more than just forgotten gaming chips; they are a tangible symbol of social commitment. With the delivery of these funds to the Marbella Town Hall, projects that directly address the needs of the most vulnerable citizens are promoted.

The Town Hall, as always, is grateful for the gesture, highlighting the Casino’s absolute involvement in the progress and development of the municipality.
