Casino Marbella receives the solidarity commerce award

The Marbella Town Hall has recognised the trajectory of thirteen businesses in Nueva Andalucía during the presentation ceremony of the Commerce Awards 2022, in the gardens of the Tenencia of the district.
The mayoress, Ángeles Muñoz, highlighted the “closeness and professionalism” of the award winners and thanked each and every one of the businesses for the great work they carry out in the services they offer. At the same time, he stated that it is an act which aims to show gratitude for reflecting the reality of a sector which has been hard hit by the pandemic and which represents the best values of the city.
The delegate of Nueva Andalucía, Cristóbal Garre, was present at an event which recognised the perseverance and excellence of the businesses of Nueva Andalucía, whose daily work contributes to making Marbella a reference point for tourism and quality of life.
Casino Marbella has received the Solidarity Commerce award for its contribution of the proceeds obtained from the “orphan tokens” throughout each year. For twelve months, the Casino is responsible for collecting and storing the “orphan” chips that it finds in the room. That is to say, the lost chips that are exchanged for their real economic amount for later donation.
These contributions help disadvantaged groups and promote the development of improvement plans for the neediest families in the city of Marbella.
A solidarity plan, which has been carried out for many years, with which Casino Marbella shows its social commitment by collaborating with the Social Affairs Delegation of the Marbella Town Hall.
The Town Hall has distinguished the Casino as one of the most committed establishments in Nueva Andalucía, for contributing to strengthening the image of Marbella and representing the best values of the city, which have been decisive in obtaining such recent recognitions as the second best destination in Europe to travel to in 2022 and the most exclusive on the continent.
