Casino Marbella collaborates with the Spanish Debra Piel de Mariposa association in the most charitable tournament of the year

The Butterfly Children’s Golf Championship raises more than 18.000€.

Epidermolysis Bullosa, better known as Butterfly Skin, is a rare disease characterised by an extreme fragility of the dermis of those who suffer from it, as much as the wings of a butterfly, hence its name. A simple touch can cause painful blisters in patients who suffer from it.
Founded in 1993, the Debra-Butterfly Skin Association aims to improve the quality of life of people suffering from this disease and their families. In Spain alone, more than 500 people live with the disease. They have a team of professionals including nurses, social workers and psychologists who travel throughout Spain offering information, support, accompaniment and advice.
Last Wednesday 10th August was a day of solidarity and emotion when the association held its annual Butterfly Children Golf Tournament at the Marbella Club Resort. The aim was clear, to raise funds to continue giving hope to the more than 200 families who suffer from this disease.
The proceeds amounted to €18,800 between the tournament and a gala in which the most committed collaborators participated.
Once again Casino Marbella is committed to charitable causes by collaborating and thanking every action carried out by associations such as Debra Piel de Mariposa, highlighting the efforts of volunteers and collaborators.
As part of the collaboration, Casino Marbella has been present in all communications of the tournament at local and national level, with brand presence during the event, with a sponsored hole.
